Critically acclaimed indie game Please, Don’t Touch Anything (PDTA) is coming to the Oculus Rift and Gear VR – and we couldn’t be more excited! The game is being developed by Escalation Studios and Four Quarters, in partnership with Oculus. Published by Bulkypix, PDTA was announced at the 2016 Game Developers Conference in San Francisco. The game is scheduled to be released in May.
Some features to expect:
- 30+ mind-bending enigmas with Virtual Reality enhanced endings
- Fully re-imagined 3D environment built specifically for Virtual Reality
- Innovative interaction systems for investigating objects in the room
- A newly-composed chiptune soundtrack with new tracks for VR
The early press on the game has been stellar!
“Most games I try in VR seem neat but it never really feels like the VR aspect adds anything to the experience, but that’s not the case with Please, Don’t Touch Anything in VR,” said Jared Nelson of TouchArcade.”You really feel like you’re in the actual space and can look around the virtual room and manipulate objects like a notebook or a bulletin board in order to find clues on what you need to do next.”
We have a lot more information to come, but for now keep an eye on our game page and social media.
